Our practice offers a range of general and cosmetic dental procedures. Learn more about some of the general dentistry treatments available to our patients.

Dental Crowns

If your teeth have suffered substantial damage or if they are severely discolored, dental crowns may be the cosmetic dentistry solution you need. Available at our Rockville, Maryland practice, dental crowns can easily conceal chips, stains, injuries, and cracks while simultaneously strengthening your teeth. A dental crown fits over an existing tooth, adding durability and easing any discomfort associated with the tooth. For more information on dental crowns, contact our cosmetic dentistry practice in Maryland.

Periodontal Care

If untreated, gum disease can lead to a number of problems. Apart from bleeding, swollen, or red gums, gum disease can cause tooth loss or a host of other serious health problems. Periodontal care (gum care) can ensure the safety and attractiveness or your smile and prevent potential health risks down the road.

Root Canals

The dental pulp in a tooth provides the tooth with nutrients so that it can function properly. When the dental pulp is damaged or infected, the only way to save your tooth is a root canal. Also referred to as endodontic treatment, a root canal reshapes, removes, and treats the dental pulp within a tooth. Performed under local anesthesia, the procedure is relatively painless and remarkably effective.

Extraction

There are some cases in which a tooth cannot be saved. In such instances, our office performs tooth extractions. Extractions may also be used to remove wisdom teeth or to prepare a patient for a cosmetic dentistry option such as dental implants.
